Save the date! The Drama League has announced that the organization's 34th Annual Benefit Gala: A Musical Celebration of Broadway will be held on Monday, November 6, 2017 beginning at 7:00 p.m. in New York City at the The Plaza (768 Fifth Avenue).

The 2017-2018 Firth Third Bank Broadway series at Florida Southwestern State College's Barbara B. Mann Performing Arts Hall will take audiences on a wild ride through some of Broadway's best shows now on tour. From Neverland to Motown, here's the exciting line-up!

Omaha Performing Arts is pleased to announce tickets for FINDING NEVERLAND go on sale to the public on Friday July 28, 2017 at 10:00 AM. FINDING NEVERLAND will play Omaha's Orpheum Theater, 409 South 16th Street, Wednesday, October 11 through Sunday, October 15, 2017.

I always find it exciting to see a musical I know nothing about and FINDING NEVERLAND fits that bill. I remember watching Jennifer Hudson sing 'Neverland' on the 2014 Tony Awards and recall watching the cast perform on the NBC 'Thanksgiving Day Parade' in November, 2014. The cast included Matthew Morrison, Kelsey Grammer, Laura Michelle Kelly and Carolee Carmello. However, the Tony Awards snubbed the musical with no nominations. After seeing the show this week, I do not understand why. I found the musical absolutely wonderful and worthy of a Tony nomination for Best Musical. FUN HOME won the Tony for Best Musical in 2015 beating out SOMETHING ROTTEN!, THE VISIT, and AN AMERICAN IN PARIS. There were no nominations for FINDING NEVERLAND.

INTAR will conclude its 2016-'17 Season with a UNIT 52 NewWorks Lab production of PENNY PINBALL PRESENTS THE BEACONS, a new play by Georgina Escobar, directed by Unit 52 Director J. Julian Christopher with additional material by UNIT52.

Finding Neverland welcomes John Davidson to the role of Charles Frohman/Captain James Hook! John Davidson, star of TV (Hollywood Squares, That's Incredible), stage (Wicked, Oklahoma!), and music (12 albums) will begin performances in Finding Neverland tonight, June 27th, at the Hippodrome Theatre in Baltimore, MD.

The Broward Center for the Performing Arts presents the Broadway Across America production of the musical Finding Neverland featuring music and lyrics by Gary Barlow and Eliot Kenned, and a book by James Graham. The musical stage adaptation is inspired by the 1998 play The Man Who Was Peter Pan by Allan Knee, and his 2004 film adaptation Finding Neverland.

So who is John Davidson? He is an actor, comedian, author, musician, TV host, singer, and entertainer. And Baltimore/Washington audiences should be in for a treat watching this consummate performer live on the boards of the historic Hippodrome Theatre as he stars in the acclaimed musical FINDING NEVERLAND from June 27 to July 2, 2017.

On July 12th, 6-7pm - International Goodwill Cultural Ambassador/performing artist Ronald Rand will be joined by legendary film star Brian Cox, stage and screen actress Nicole Ansari, one of America's greatest sculptors Carolyn D. INTAR has announced that the 2016-'17 Season will conclude with a UNIT 52 NewWorks Lab production of PENNY PINBALL PRESENTS THE BEACONS, a new play by Georgina Escobar, directed by Unit 52 Director J. Julian Christopher with additional material by UNIT52. 

Kelsey Grammer will make his LA Opera debut in the company's 2018 production of Candide, composer Leonard Bernstein's 1956 Broadway classic. 

Broadway star Betsy Wolfe joined the cast of Waitress just last night, June 13 in the lead role of expert pie-maker Jenna Hunterson. Wolfe is joined by Joe Tippett, who also steps into the role of Earl tonight. Drew Gehling will reprise the role he originated when he returns to the cast of Waitress on June 27, 2017 as Dr. Pomatter. Chris Diamantopoulos will play his final performance as Dr. Pomatter on June 25. The Brooks Atkinson Theatre just got a fresh look and Wolfe (along with producer Barry Weissler and her costars Caitlin Houlahan and Charity Angel Dawson)  helped unveil the makeover below!

Broadway In Chicago has announced WAITRESS will play the Cadillac Palace Theatre (151 W. Randolph) for a limited three-week engagement July 3 - 22, 2018.

The producers of the smash hit Broadway musical have announced that Joe Tippett will step into the role of Earl in Waitress on June 13, opposite Betsy Wolfe as Jenna. Will Swenson will play his final performance as Earl on June 11, 2017.
