ET Online is reporting that DreamWorks Studios is holding an open call for a young male actor for a lead role in upcoming film ‘Real Steel,' starring Hugh Jackman. The role in question is Max, a 'street-smart, tough, charming kid with a hard, untrusting outer shell which hides a warm enthusiastic spirit...a complicated, strong-willed and resourceful boy.' DreamWorks is looking for a 10-14 year old male actor for the part.

Hugh Jackman Rumored to Star in 'Snow Flower and the Secret Fan' Flick

According to a report that originated in the Shanghai-based Oriental Morning Post, Hugh Jackman will star in Wayne Wang's 'Snow Flower and the Secret Fan.' The Post also reported that Li Bingbing has replaced Zhang Ziyi in the film. Also starring is Joen Ji-Hyun. Jackman is expected to begin filming in mid-February in a studio near Shanghai.
Daniel Craig in Talks to Star in Favreau Directed 'Cowboys and Aliens'

Daniel Craig is currently in talks to star in the upcoming film 'Cowboys and Aliens,' directed by John Favraeu. After announcing earlier this week that Robert Downey Jr. would no longer be able to star in the film due to scheduling conflicts, Craig was tapped to star in the film. Craig is in talks to play a cowboy character in the sci-fi film.
Broadway 'Breaks a Billion' in 2009 Box Office Report

The year end figures for the Broadway box office have been compiled by the Broadway League, making 2009 a milestone year for the stage, with gross figures breaking the billion mark, as per a report in Variety. 'Wicked' garnered the top spot for individual sales, grossing approximately $77.3 million. 'Billy Elliot' claimed the No. 2 spot with $66.2 million in ticket sales.
