The Ambassador Theatre Group Ltd (ATG), the UK's largest theatre company, with 39 venues in the UK, including 13 in the West End, announced today that it has partnered with Tony Award-winner Jerry Mitchell, the acclaimed director and choreographer, to form Jerry Mitchell Productions. Jerry Mitchell Productions will work to develop, create and produce new productions for ATG theatres in London, New York and around the world. Mitchell will also take on a Creative Producer role, as well as being a Director/Choreographer on selected productions, and will focus on a wide range of projects from new commissions to fresh, innovative versions of classic pieces.

Starring Tom Hollander with Di Botcher, Jonathan Cake, Oliver Cotton, Lisa Dillon, Freddie Fox, Fiona Glascott, Lloyd Hutchinson, John Marquez, Tim McMullan, William Maxwell, Rebecca Night, Maggie Service and Walter Van Dyk, A Flea in Her Ear is a comedy of errors set against a backdrop of misunderstanding and confusion. A Flea in Her Ear is a co-production with Sonia Friedman Productions and is the second play in The Old Vic 2010-11 Season. The Season is sponsored by Bank of America Merrill Lynch.

According to a report by Baz Bamigboye for UK Daily Mail, Ugly Betty star America Ferrera, is in talks to star in Neil LaBute's West End production of reasons to be pretty. According to reports from Whatsonstage, Ruthie Henshall will star alongside Alison Steadman, Robert Bathurst, and Hermione Norris in BLITHE SPIRIT which is set to play at Bath's Theatre Royal from November 3-13, the Brighton Theatre Royal from November 16-21, Cambridge's Arts Theatre from November 22-27, the Milton Keynes Theatre from February 14-19 and the Richmond Theatre from February 21-26. The production is then set to play the Apollo Theatre beginning March 2.
