Charles S. Dutton's upcoming tribute to late great playwright August Wilson has been delayed

Signature Theatre Company announced today that, after further discussion with the August Wilson Estate, the company will reinstate its plans to present playwright August Wilson in 2006 as part of its 15th Anniversary line-up.

The Virginia Theater, at 245 West 52nd Street will be renamed the August Wilson Theater on October 17th.

August Wilson, arguably the most influential and important living African-American playwright, has been diagnosed with terminal liver cancer
