Casting has been announced for the Dayton engagement of JERSEY BOYS, the story of Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons, playing the Benjamin & Marian Schuster Performing Arts Center, January 17 through February 5, 2012 as part of the 2011-2012 Miami Valley & Good Samaritan Hospitals Broadway Series.

JERSEY BOYS, the Tony, Grammy and Olivier Award-winning hit musical, opened in Philadelphia, PA at the Forrest Theatre, on Friday, December 9 (performances began Tuesday, December 6) and will play through Saturday, January 14, 2012. From Philadelphia, JERSEY BOYS will play Dayton, OH's Schuster Performing Arts Center Tuesday, January 17 through Sunday, February 5.

JERSEY BOYS will launch a new Second National Tour at the Forrest Theatre on Dec. 6 - Jan. 14. The official press opening will be Friday, Dec. 9 at 8:00 pm

Seattle's Paramount Theatre is currently presenting the tour of the Tony winning classic "Fiddler on the Roof" starring the unstoppable force of nature that is Harvey Fierstein. And while this show has never been one that I could get into, the cast infused it with enough heart and humor that even a non-fan like me had an enjoyable evening.

The crocuses, cherry blossoms, and azaleas will be in full bloom, as the nation's capital will be awash in beautiful colors. It's the perfect time to visit and see some great shows in our DC area theatres.

Lauderdale 2009-2010 season which will present six-major musical productions presented by Florida Theatrical Association at the Broward Center for the Performing Arts.
