The Clarence Brown Theatre opens the second half of its season with Matthew Lopez' highly acclaimed "The Whipping Man" running January 30 to February 16 in the Carousel Theatre and directed by John Sipes. The production is sponsored by BB&T, Knoxville Area Urban League, Knox County Tourism Consortia, Tennessee Arts Commission, and the City of Knoxville.
Dr. Stuart Rockoff to Present 'Southern Jews and Slavery' in conjunction with CBT's THE WHIPPING MAN

The Knoxville Jewish Alliance (KJA) and the Clarence Brown Theatre (CBT) have announced that Dr. Stuart Rockoff will present "Southern Jews and Slavery" at the Arnstein Jewish Community Center on Sunday, January 19, 2014 at 7:00 pm. The program, which is free and open to the public, will be presented in collaboration with the theater'sproduction of The Whipping Man, a drama about the Civil War running Thursday, January 30 through Sunday, February 16, 2014. The center is located at 6800 Deane Hill Drive. Light refreshments will be served.

The Little Prince runs tonight, December 5, 2013 - February 2, 2014 at Lookingglass Theatre Company, located inside Chicago's historic Water Tower Water Works, 821 N. Michigan Ave. at Pearson. The Press Opening is Saturday, December 14, 2013 at 7:30 p.m.
David Whalen & Justin R.G. Holcomb to Lead PICT's THE CRUCIFER OF BLOOD; Cast Announced

PICT Theatre's final production of the season is the Pittsburgh premiere of Paul Giovanni's The Crucifer of Blood, a Sherlock Holmes adventure featuring characters created by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. Matt Torney directs. David Whalen returns to reprise the role of Sherlock Holmes since his 2011 turn as the master detective. Also returning from the 2011 production is Daryll Heysham as Inspector Lestrade. Justin R. G. Holcomb makes his PICT debut as Dr. Watson.
