Following a successful inaugural event in 2016, the finalists for the 2017 Heart of Education Awards will be honored at a red-carpet ceremony at 7 p.m. on Saturday, April 29 at The Smith Center for the Performing Arts. This second-annual awards event, powered by The Rogers Foundation, celebrates Clark County School District (CCSD) teachers who go above and beyond for their students.

KURIOS, Cabinet of Curiosities, written and directed by Michel Laprise, creates a world vaguely 19th-century, with overtones of the French filmmaker Georges Melies. It's a world populated by fantastic beings, all going about their business with a will, whatever that business may be. It doesn't really matter though, because your disbelief is suspended from the first scene.

San Francisco Ballet, long recognized for pushing boundaries in dance, has announced its 2017-18 Season program and schedule. This summer, SF Ballet will return to Festival Napa Valley for one performance only on Friday, July 21, 2017, accompanied by members of the SF Ballet Orchestra.
