RED TAPE THEATRE PRESENTS The Skriker by Caryl Churchill. Eric Hoff, director of last year's smash hit Hit The Wall, directs this haunting fairytale.

SOUNDING BECKETT - a singular evening of theater and music that pairs three plays by Samuel Beckett from his 'ghost period' with new works by contemporary composers written expressly in response to those plays - will be presented September 14-23 at the Classic Stage Company (136 E. 13 St.) in Manhattan.

This season's line-up includes Caryl Churchill's Serious Money - receiving its first New York revival since the 1988 Broadway production - about greed in London's financial district in the late '80s, directed by PTP's Co-Artistic Director Cheryl Faraone. Classic Stage Company has announced that Nick Gehlfuss, who appeared as Lysander in the company's recent production of A Midsummer Night's Dream, is this year's recipient of the Rosemarie Tichler Fund grant.

The New York Times is reporting that Alec Baldwin will return to Broadway in the Spring of 2013 in a new production of OPRHANS, to be directed by Tony-winner Daniel Sullivan. There is no word yet on a theatre or additional cast members for the production.

Silk Road Rising is set to present the World Premiere of Night Over Erzinga, written by Adriana Sevahn Nichols and directed by Lisa Portes. Night Over Erzinga runs October 9 - November 11, 2012, in Pierce Hall at The Historic Chicago Temple Building, 77 W. Washington St, Chicago. Press opening is Saturday, October 13 at 3:00 pm.

As part of the current three-play Royal Court at the Duke of York's Season with Posh by Laura Wade, Jumpy by April De Angelis and Constellations by Nick Payne, four of the UK's leading playwrights will direct one of their all-time favourite plays in a series of one-off afternoon readings from 29 June at the Duke of York's Theatre in a special event supported by The Ambassador Theatre Group. Nick Payne, Polly Stenham, Roy Williams and David Eldridge will select their favourite plays and will have less than two days to bring their vision to life with a full cast to be announced for staged readings on Friday afternoons this summer.

For its 2012-13 season, the school spotlights timeless works from master playwrights and performances from emerging stage talents.

Iron Shoes previously announced the national tour dates for their production of Mad About the Boy. The production received its London première at the Unicorn Theatre on Saturday 12 May before embarking on a UK tour, now stopping in Oxford June 19-20, 2012.

Today, June 17th Revolve Theatre Company opens A Number, by Caryl Churchill, its fourth production, directed by YDP Artistic Director James Rayfield and starring YDP Director Chris Jackson and Tampa Bay favorite Steve Garland.
