LITTLE HOUSE ON THE PRAIRIE, the new musical based on Laura Ingalls Wilder's beloved series of classic American books, is now enjoying a celebrated 26-city tour throughout the U.S. and Canada. Last week, during its two-week engagement at the California Musical Theatre in Sacramento, the cast got a special visit from some of Melissa Gilbert's co-stars from the original 'Little House' TV series.

Paper Mill Playhouse (Mark S. Hoebee-Artistic Director, Mark W. Jones-Executive Director) is warning their loyal subscribers to purchase any additional seats soon, before there are no seats left. LITTLE HOUSE ON THE PRAIRIE began previews on September 10th and only a few seats remain.

LITTLE HOUSE ON THE PRAIRIE - THE MUSICAL runs through Oct 10, 2009 at Papermill Playhouse. The play features music by Rachel Portman, with a book by Rachel Sheinkin, and lyrics by Donna di Novelli.

On Wednesday, September 2nd, the cast and creative team of the upcoming national tour of LITTLE HOUSE ON THE PRAIRIE, THE MUSICAL, including Melissa Gilbert as Caroline 'Ma' Ingalls, Steve Blanchard as Charles 'Pa' Ingalls and Kara Lindsay as Laura Ingalls -- plus director Francesca Zambello, choreographer Michele Lynch and more held a sneak peek rehearsal performance of select scenes from the musical followed by a meet and greet with the cast.
