For its 50th year, the Mirvish family will present 14 shows in Toronto - its biggest season ever.

Cast members from the Tony and Grammy Award-winning Best Musical, ONCE will perform at 54 BELOW on Sunday, February 17 at 7pm at 254 West 54th Street. The company will present a mix of original music, covers songs and even some tunes cut from the hit musical itself, all under the musical direction of David Abeles. The American Repertory Theatre (A.R.T.) has cancelled all Friday evening performances of The Glass Menagerie and Bayou Bacchanalia due to the incoming storm. At this time, all performances at the Loeb Drama Center and OBERON, on Saturday will be taking place as scheduled. In the event they cancel performances, they will issue notice via email or by phone.

Memphis 'most eagerly awaited stage production Mary Poppins will arrive at The Orpheum Theatre tonight, February 5th and will run through Sunday, February 10th.

The Audience will preview at the Gielgud Theatre from 15 February 2013, with press night on 5 March 2013 and is currently booking to 15 June 2013. According to the Daily Mail, Helen Mirren has begun rehearsals for Peter Morgan's The Audience, about Elizabeth II. The play has already drawn a box office advance of £2 million, but regardless of popularity, The Audience must end its engagement on June 15 due to the Chichester Festival Theatre production of Private Lives, set to begin at the Gielgud Theatre on June 22.

According to the Daily Mail, Croatian actress Zrinka Cvitesic will play the female lead in Once at the Gaiety in Dublin, February 22 before transferring to the Phoenix in London on March 16, 2013. Cvitesic will join Declan Bennett under the direction of John Tiffany.

ONCE won eight Tony Awards including Best Musical. The production was also named Best Musical by the New York Drama Critics Circle, Drama Desk, Drama League, Outer Critic Circle and Lucille Lortel Awards.

Now, Disney Theatrical Productions has confirmed that Aladdin, a new musical based on the Academy Award winning animated film, will play its pre-Broadway engagement at Toronto's Ed Mirvish Theatre(formerly the Canon) November 13, 2013 to January 12, 2014 and will open at Broadway's New Amsterdam Theatre in 2014. The show will feature music by Alan Menken; lyrics by the late Howard Ashman, Tim Rice and Chad Beguelin with a book by Beguelin. Casey Nicholaw will direct and choreograph.

The Jacksonville premiere of MARY POPPINS opens tonight, Tuesday, January 22 at 7:30PM at the Times-Union Center for a limited engagement of 8 performances through Sunday, January 27. 'We are delighted that sales have exceeded expectations, but there are still great seats available for this wonderful musical,' said Milt Russos, Executive Director of the Artist Series.

Two further preview matinee performances (16 and 27 February 2013 at 2.30pm) have been scheduled for Stephen Daldry's production of Peter Morgan's The Audience.
