The fascinating life and career of celebrated film star, fashion icon and humanitarian, Audrey Hepburn, will be explored in a new photography exhibition opening at the National Portrait Gallery in July 2015, it was announced today (Tuesday 2 December 2014). Coinciding with the 65th anniversary of Hepburn's little known career-changing performance at renowned West End night club Ciro's, in the space now occupied by the Gallery's public Archive, the exhibition will bring together a remarkable selection of both classic and rarely seen photographs of the successful British actress.

Storm Theatre Company' toGIGI to Open in January

The Storm Theatre Company has announced that they will kick off 2015 with a production of the play GIGI by Anita Loos adapted from the novella by Anita Loos. This will mark the first major revival of the show which opened in 1951 and which launched the career of Audrey Hepburn.

When the doll goes missing in Sam and Susy's apartment, three ruthless thugs show up to try and find it, terrorizing Susy in the process. Many will remember the 1966 Broadway play starring Lee Remick and Robert Duvall, or the 1967 film starting Audrey Hepburn and Alan Arkin, But seeing it in an intimate 99 seat theater brings spine-tingling chills galore.

Victoria Clark, who won a Tony Award for her luminous performance in The Light in the Piazza and was also Tony-nominated for Rodgers & Hammerstein's Cinderella and Sister Act, will star as Mamita Alvarez. Dee Hoty, who has starred on Broadway in City of Angels, Me and My Girl and Mamma Mia! and is a three-time Tony Award nominee for The Will Rogers Follies, The Best Little Whorehouse Goes Public and Footloose, will star as Aunt Alicia. Gigi also stars Vanessa Hudgens in the title role, two-time Tony Award-nominee Howard McGillin (The Mystery of Edwin Drood, Anything Goes, The Phantom of the Opera) as Honore Lachaille, Corey Cott (Newsies) as Gaston Lachaille and Steffanie Leigh (Mary Poppins) as Liane d'Exelmans.
