My name is Ari Gold. I am Jewish. I am gay. I am a 4th generation lower east sider. And I am not the guy from Entourage. I call my style shtetle fabulous. My parents, Sid and Malkah Gold, who worked as educators in the public school system in the South Bronx, are two unorthodox orthodox Jews from New York with unfulfilled show-biz dreams. I like to call them Show-Jews!

The 20th Anniversary revival of DAVID MAMET's Speed-The-Plow will begin performances on Friday, October 3, 2008 at the Belasco Theatre (111 West 44th Street) under the direction of NEIL PEPE (David Mamet's Romance, Ethan Coen's Almost an Evening).

On Monday June 9th, 2008 amfAR presented Honoring with Pride: Honoring Jerry Mitchell: A celebration of the gay and lesbian community's response in the fight against HIV/AIDS. The event featured Taylor Dayne and was hosted by Mario Cantone. In addition to Jerry Mitchell the event honored Julie Davids and the company Kiehl's Since 1851.

The Screen Actors' Guild (SAG) Awards will be held at the Los Angeles Shrine Exposition Center, to be broadcast live on TNT and TBS at 8PM. Top winners included Kevin Kline, Ruby Dee, Queen Latifah, Julie Christine, 'No Country for Old Men,' 'The Sopranos,' '30 Rock,' and 'The Office.'

Directed by Lynne Moses, and written by Moses and Aram Rappaport, Daybreak is a production of The Hayworth Theatre's popular Bruno Kirby Celebrity Reading Series.
