This is a story about dreams and destiny. My name is Ari Gold. I am Jewish. I am gay. I am a 4th generation lower east sider. And I am not the guy from Entourage. I call my style shtetle fabulous. My parents, Sid and Malkah Gold, who worked as educators in the public school system in the South Bronx, are two unorthodox orthodox Jews from New York with unfulfilled show-biz dreams. I like to call them Show-Jews!

The 20th Anniversary revival of DAVID MAMET's Speed-The-Plow will begin performances on Friday, October 3, 2008 at the Belasco Theatre (111 West 44th Street) under the direction of NEIL PEPE (David Mamet's Romance, Ethan Coen's Almost an Evening).
