In a major theatrical event marking the 400th anniversary of William Shakespeare's death, BAM, the Royal Shakespeare Company, and The Ohio State University present the US Premiere of Shakespeare's History plays in KING AND COUNTRY: SHAKESPEARE'S GREAT CYCLE OF KINGS. Following performances at the Barbican, and in China in Beijing, Shanghai, and Hong Kong, the plays are directed by RSC Artistic Director Gregory Doran and performed in repertory at the BAM Harvey Theater from Mar 24 through May 1, 2016.

At a ceremony held today at London's Café de Paris, Steve Furst announced the nominees for the 16th Annual WhatsOnStage Awards. BAM has confirmed plans for Royal Shakespeare Company's productions of William Shakespeare's history plays, RICHARD II; HENRY IV Parts I and II; and HENRY V, all directed by RSC Artistic Director Gregory Doran, to be performed in repertory at the BAM Harvey Theater from Mar 24 through May 1, 2016. The Royal Shakespeare Company (RSC) returns to the Barbican in November with Henry V, followed by a major theatrical event in January 2016 to mark the 400th anniversary of Shakespeare's death - with performances of all four productions of Gregory Doran's history plays in repertoire. 

As RSC Executive Director, Catherine Mallyon joins Chancellor George Osborne on his visit to China and the Company opens Gregory Doran's production of Henry V in Stratford-upon-Avon, the RSC is delighted to announce the details for its programme of international cultural, artistic and educational exchange with China.

Casting is announced for Gregory Doran's production of Arthur Miller's 1949 Pulitzer prize-winning play Death of a Salesman, opening in the centenary year of Arthur Miller's birth. Previews start from 26 March, with the press night on Wednesday 1 April, 2015.

Antony Sher, Harriet Walter and Alex Hassell will star in the Royal Shakespeare Company's DEATH OF A SALESMAN from March 26. RSC Artistic Director Gregory Doran helms Arthur Miller's 1949 play in a West-End-hopeful production, according to the Daily Mail.
