Jackalope Theatre Company and The Yard present BLOOD AT THE ROOT


Jackalope Theatre Company and The Yard are pleased to announce the cast and production team for Blood at the Root, a continuation of their artistic partnership. The play, written by Dominique Morisseau, is co-directed by The Yard's co-Artistic Director Joel Ewing^ and Jackalope Theatre Company Member and The Yard Resident Artist and Mentor Will Kiley^*.

Steppenwolf Theatre Company begins performances for Garage Rep 2015 today, February 20, 2015, which features Cold Basement Dramatics' production of Heat Wave, Pride Films and Plays' production of Angry Fags and Red Tape Theatre's production of The Walk Across America for Mother Earth. These innovative storefront companies will perform in rotating repertory under Steppenwolf's banner for ten weeks.

Cold Basement Dramatics Sets HEAT WAVE Cast, Beginning Next Month as Part of Steppenwolf's Garage Rep 2015


Cold Basement Dramatics announces the cast and creative team for its upcoming production of Heat Wave, part of Garage Rep 2015 at the Steppenwolf Garage. Written by Steven Simoncic and directed by Rinska Carrasco-Prestinary, the production will run February 20 - April 25, 2015 and marks the 20th anniversary of the Chicago heat wave of 1995.

Casting for Steppenwolf's GARAGE REP 2015 Announced!


Now in its sixth year, Steppenwolf Theatre Company presents Garage Rep 2015, featuring three cutting-edge Chicago companies producing bold work in rotating repertory for ten weeks under Steppenwolf's banner. This year's Garage Rep features Cold Basement Dramatics' production of Heat Wave, Pride Films and Plays' production of Angry Fags and Red Tape Theatre's production of The Walk Across America for Mother Earth. Casting and creative teams for each production included below. Performances run February 20, 2015 - April 26, 2015 in the Garage Theatre (1624 N. Halsted St.). Press weekend is March 7 and 8.
