The newest exhibition from Quin Arts, "In Bloom," launches May 10 at the Quin, located at 57th Street and Sixth Avenue. The group exhibition, co-curated by Quin Arts curator DK Johnston and New York-based curator Lori Zimmer, promises a very fresh take on floral-themed works to celebrate spring. Zimmer and Johnston have invited 29 artists to use their signature styles to create floral-themed pieces, for a light, airy and warm exhibition to pair with New York's most magical season.

A Call to Action is an exhibition featuring over 60 artists and performers in an expression of protest to the current president and his administration.

Theatre at the Center, 1040 Ridge Road, continues their 2013-2014 season with a revival of one of Broadway's most popular rock musicals, GODSPELL. The groundbreaking production based on the Gospel According to St. Matthew runs now through October 20. Featuring a sparkling score by Stephen Schwartz (Wicked), and an energetic book by original director John-Michael Tebelak, GODSPELL is the upbeat retelling of a series of biblical parables. Now through June 2, 2013, at the Theatre at the Center in Munster, Indiana (and not as far away as you might think) is a new play that gives us an interesting look into the making of one of the most enduring work of art produced by Hollywood in its Golden Age of Movie Musicals, the 1952 classic MGM film, "Singin' in the Rain."

The musical "Forever Plaid," created in 1990 by writer/director Stuart Ross and the late musical director/arranger James Raitt (cousin to John and Bonnie), was and is a perennially popular staple of regional theaters looking for a small-cast, upbeat and moving musical to satisfy audiences of a certain age (meaning my parents, and your grandparents).

The hilarious holiday musical sequel to the record-breaking FOREVER PLAID, PLAID TIDINGS, entertains Theatre at the Center audiences now through December 23 at 1040 Ridge Road, Munster. The production opened last night, November 18th. Check out photos from the celebration below!

The hugely popular musical play telling the story of legendary country singer Patsy Cline and her most devoted fan, ALWAYS... PATSY CLINE kicks off Theatre at the Center's 2012 season. Based on a true story of this unparalleled pioneer for female performers and a fan from Houston she befriended in a Texas honky-tonk, the production previews February 23, opens February 26 and runs through April 1.
