The Papp Family, whose history of support for the arts as both advocates and donors extends over many decades, will receive the 10th annual Shelley Award at the 34th Governor's Arts Awards on Tuesday, March 24 at the Sheraton Phoenix Downtown Hotel, 340 N. 3rd St.

Ceol na nGael, heard Sunday afternoons from 12-4 p.m., is celebrating 40 years on WFUV (90.7 FM/wfuv.org) with a concert on Sunday, February 8, from 1-3 p.m. at Ross Hall at the New York Botanical Garden. Performers will include these leading Irish-American artists: fiddler Eileen Ivers, singer Cathie Ryan, seven-piece band Celtic Cross, and Dan Gurney, accordion player of The Yanks.

The University of Connecticut announces a new online graduate certificate in Arts Administration beginning in the fall semester, 2014. Arts Administration is new program within the Drama Department of the School of Fine Arts and the certificate is being offered through UConn's eCampus.

Megan Scully, a Fordham University sophomore, will make her debut as co-host with Tara Cuzzi of Ceol na nGael on Sunday, August 26 between 12:00-4:00 p.m. Megan replaces Colleen Taylor, whose last program will be on Sunday, August 19.
