The Museum of Arts and Design (MAD) will hold its annual MAD BALL on October 15th, 2020, a virtual benefit, honoring Judy Chicago for her unparalleled contributions to the fields of art, craft, and design.

Top Chef's Tom Colicchio, Red Hot Chili Peppers drummer Chad Smith, The Roots' Captain Kirk Douglas and former Saturday Night Live bandleader G.E. Smith are among the celebrities slated to join over 150 guitarists in a massive six-string symphony benefitting music in education programs.

On Monday June 9th, 2008 amfAR presented Honoring with Pride: Honoring Jerry Mitchell: A celebration of the gay and lesbian community's response in the fight against HIV/AIDS. The event featured Taylor Dayne and was hosted by Mario Cantone. In addition to Jerry Mitchell the event honored Julie Davids and the company Kiehl's Since 1851.
