Pioneer Theatre Company UPCOMING AUDITIONS THE PLAY THAT GOES WRONG and DIRTY ROTTEN SCOUNDRELS — CONCERT PRODUCTION ?Pioneer Theatre Company is holding auditions for Dirty Rotten Scoundrels—Concert Production on August 22, 2019 and for The Play That Goes Wrong on August 23, 2019. Callbacks, by invitation, will be August 24, 2019. Dirty Rotten Scoundrels is our latest staged concert production series: impossibly short rehearsal period, scripts in-hand, lightly costumed and staged, heavily hilarious. Based on the well-known movie of the same name. Rehearsals are October 7 - 17, 2019 and performances are October 18 & 19, 2019. The Play That Goes Wrong, Broadway’s funniest and longest-running play, is a hilarious hybrid of Monty Python and Sherlock Holmes. Rehearsals are November 11 - December 5, 2019 and performances are December 6 - 21, 2019. Auditions for Dirty Rotten Scoundrels will be held on Thursday, August 22, 2019 from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. is reserved for Actors Equity Association members ONLY. Callbacks, by invitation only, will be Saturday, August 24, 2019. Auditioners should prepare 16 bars in the style of the musical. Auditions for The Play That Goes Wrong will be held on Friday, August 23, 2019. from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. is reserved for Actors Equity Association members ONLY. Callbacks, by invitation only, will be Saturday, August 24, 2019. Please be aware that PTC does not accept video or online submissions. All auditions will be held at Simmons Pioneer Memorial Theatre. Performers of all ethnic and racial backgrounds are encouraged to audition. Auditioners must come in to sign up on the callboard in Room 325 at the Roy W. and Elizabeth E.
