GAIL
Female, Mid 40’s-Mid 50’s, Caucasian. A positive, upbeat, attractive and winning person with a good sense of humor. The mother hen of the office. Gail constantly chatters as she can’t handle silence. She is uneducated and has never left her hometown. She keeps her disappointment with her life at bay by staying very busy; teaches Zumba, does crafts, etc. Gail was a mean girl in high school and has a jealous streak. However, she is absolutely beloved by the people in her office. The kind of woman who makes the perfect brownies.
DAVID
Male, Early-Mid 20’s, Any Ethnicity. Super smart, but pathologically shy. He never sat at the cool table and probably collects comic books. He is biding his time in this office, and counting down the days until he gets to start his life. Only works here to pay for his education.
JEN
Female, Early-Mid 30’s, Any Ethnicity. A natural beauty and a total stunner, however, she is deeply wounded. Jen was the May Queen in 1996 and is rumored to have had an amazing life of travel, success, and glamour. Back in her hometown for mysterious reasons she finds herself faced with a very uncomfortable situation. Possesses a very genuine and obvious goodness.
MIKE
Male, Mid-Late 30’s, Any Ethnicity. Confident and funny. The type of guy who has been popular his whole life. A real man; there is nothing boyish about him. A former athlete who still keeps up his buff physique. He has a very winning personality and is loved by women. However, there is also a lot of darkness in him and he has spent many nights on a bar stool.
NICOLE
Female, Early 20’s, Any Ethnicity. A little Mussolini. A control freak with anger issues. She is deeply awkward about the power of her position as supervisor of the office. All of this masks the fact that on the inside she is very lonely and unhappy. Most of her friends are doing awesome internships in NYC and she is in a horrible small upstate town working with idiots.
