The Diamond Head Theatre Shooting Stars youth performing troupe will be holding auditions for boys and girls ages 8-16.

1:00 pm (Registration begins at 12:30 pm)

Auditions will begin promptly as scheduled. Auditioning children should be prepared with sheet music in their own key that is age appropriate. An accompanist will be provided. There are no transpositions on site, tapes, karaoke or a cappella allowed. For the dance audition, children should wear close-toe shoes (jazz shoes preferred) and be dressed for movement. Please bring tap shoes if available, but not required. DHT Shooting Stars meets every Saturday from 1:00 – 5:00 pm. Please have conflicts available for the application.
Under the direction of Diamond Head Theatre’s award-winning Artistic Director, John Rampage and his talented staff, the Shooting Stars feature some of Hawaii’s most talented performers, ages 8-16. Having entertained audiences for over 15 years with an extensive repertoire of show tunes and choreography, they have also performed in New York at City Center, and locally at Washington Place, Hilton Hawaiian Village, Honolulu Star-Advertiser ‘Ilima Awards, with the Honolulu POPS Concert, and in all 11 years of the Jim Nabors’ Christmas Show. The Shooting Stars have also staged their own productions of Little Shop of Horrors, Damn Yankees, 42nd Street, Cinderella, Hello Dolly!, and Into the Woods.
