BAY CITY PLAYERS ANNOUNCES AUDITIONS

Bay City Players will hold auditions for its upcoming production, Moonglow, by Kim Carney (A Michigan Playwright), on Sunday, August 25th & Monday, August 26th at 7:00 p.m. Auditions will be held at Bay City Players, 1214 Columbus Avenue, in Bay City. Directed by Tina Sills and assisted by Trevor Keyes.

Performance dates are October 18-20 and October 24-27, 2013. Director, Tina Sills is looking for:

1 Woman to play 70’s

2 Women to play 30 – 50

1 Woman to play early 20’s (will need to learn to jitterbug)

1 Man to play 70’s

1 Man to play 40 – 50

1 Man to play early 20’s (will need to learn to jitterbug)

THE PLOT: This heartwarming play, written by Michigan author Kim Carney tells the story of a woman moving her mother into an assisted living facility. Determined not to go quietly, her mother causes a ruckus, finds a jitter-bug partner, and teaches her daughter a valuable lesson in life, all told though music, dancing and love.
