Light Opera Works is a professional musical theater company, casting
primarily Chicago area talent. All principal and ensemble performers are paid.
2016 Season Auditions
Auditions are by appointment only.
Online audition sign-ups will begin on Thursday, January 7, 2016, at 11:00 am.
All dancers are required to come to a general audition call before being invited to a dance call.
The role of young Patrick will be cast at a separate audition in April. If your child would like to be considered for Patrick please submit a headshot and resume to casting director for consideration and you will be contacted for an audition.

What to Prepare:
• Two contrasting 32-bar selections from classic Broadway/Operetta repertoire in English. You may be asked to sing only one selection.
Note:
If you are interested in a specific role, you are encouraged to prepare your selection
from that role. Tentative dance callbacks are the evenings of February 1st and 2nd
What to Bring:
• Repertoire book
• Two copies of your resume and headshot
• Personal calendar to inform us of conflicts
An accompanist will be provided.
Location:
Auditions will be held in Wilmette at the Light Opera Works Rehearsal Center
at 516 4th Street. Accessible by public transportation via the Purple Line el.
