AUDITIONS FOR GOOD THEATER SEASON
Good Theater, the professional theater in residence at St. Lawrence Arts, will be holding auditions by appointment only on Monday May 21 and Tuesday May 22 from 3:00 – 8:00 pm each day. To secure an audition slot, please contact Good Theater at

At the audition actors will be asked to read from the scripts. A break-down of available roles is attached. If you are auditioning for the musical, please bring sheet music and a pianist will be provided. All roles are paid.

Jean – Cast
Stevie – late 20’s manager of a Dollar Store. Very sweet, a nice guy, often the butt of a joke. Good heart and enjoys playing bingo
Dottie – mid-60’s. A friend of Margaret’s, a beat behind in the conversation, often. Means well but is usually looking out for herself. A bit of a busybody.
Kate – African American in her early 30’s. Well educated, grew up in Washington DC, now a mom and the young wife of a doctor who is 20 years her senior.
Striking 12 – musical
Lightbulb seller/Little Match Girl – cast
The Man – a bit grumpy, not into New Year’s Eve, a tad jaded, but basically a nice guy. High baritone/low tenor with a rock sensibility.
Jack/Small Part Guy – cast
Happy Foley – good natured guy, goes with the flow, also does sound effects. Bari/tenor
Narrator 3 & Various roles (female) – great actress, strong singer and able to sing harmonies

Death by Design by Rob Urbinati - this is the East Coast permiere of this new play. The playwright will be in residence during rehearsals. Anyone auditioning for this show should be precise with lines – no paraphrasing. This is a comedy very much in the style of Noel Coward.
