AUDITION DATE: MONDAY, AUGUST 21, 2017 10AM-1PM Equity Principal Audition 1:30-3PM Equity Chorus Call TUESDAY, AUGUST 22, 2017 10AM-3PM Non- Equity Open Call LOCATION: The Wick Theatre 7901 N. Federal Highway Boca Raton, FL 33487 APPOINTMENTS: Please e-mail headshot/resume and a preferred audition time (if interested in attending the EPA) to wicktheatrecasting@gmail.com. No phone calls please. Call backs will be held later in the day on each audition date. Non - AEA members without appointments will be seen as time permits. CONTRACT: SPT-10 $684 per week minimum PERSONNEL: Director - Jeffrey Moss; Musical Director - James Olmsted; Choreographer - TBA; Executive Producer - Marilynn Wick. The Producer will run all aspects of this audition. AUDITION SPECIFICS: The Wick Theatre and Costume Museum announces auditions for BRIGADOON on Monday, August 21 & 22, 2017. Rehearsal begin 2/20/18 and closes 4/8/18. Seeking experienced AEA and non-Equity performers. Ethnic minorities are encouraged to attend. Specifically seeking: PRINCIPALS: TOMMY ALBRIGHT – A surprisingly sensitive American man who can’t seem to make a commitment to his long-standing girlfriend. Somewhat dissatisfied with his current life. About 40. Big powerful Baritone. B flat below Middle C to F#. JEFF DOUGLAS – Tommy’ friend. Glib, skeptical. Loves liquor and women. Very little singing. About 40. FIONA MACLAREN – A smart, bright woman who is completely frank to the point of disarming. Glorious Soprano . B below middle C to A. About 35. CHARLIE DALRYMPLE – A sweet and happy bridegroom. Tenor. D below Middle C to G. Young….but maybe not. MEG BROKIE – A lusty gal who loves men and a good time. And wants to tell you all about it. Very Strong Alto. G below Middle C to F. 35 or more. MR LUNDIE – A schoolteacher now older and wiser. No singing. JANE AUSTEN - A contemporary 1950 woman. Attractive. Chic. Ready to be married. No singing. 35. DANCING ROLES: JEAN MACLAREN- A sweet, somewhat shy, bride to be. Has Dialogue and must be an excellent Dancer. No Singing. 25ish. HARRY BEATON – A sensitive and anguished young man. Has dialogue and must be an excellent Dancer. No Singing. 25ish. SMALLER ROLES/ ALSO PART OF ENSEMBLE: ANDREW MACLAREN – Fiona and Jean’s father. Somewhat pompous. 55 – 60. Sings. ARCHIE BEATON – Harry’s father. Reliable. 50ish. Sings. PREPARATION: Please prepare a song in the style of the show. You may sing from BRIGADOON, but it is not required. Actors may be asked to stay and read from sides, and also may be asked to stay to dance.
