PIONEER THEATRE COMPANY UPCOMING AUDITIONS Ass May be written for publication as A** Pioneer Theatre Company is holding auditions for Ass, a new production written by playwright Ellen Simon. [May be written for publication as A**] In this witty and acrimonious World Premiere, a brilliant sculptor in failing health is forced to deal with his son and his ninth wife. He confronts his own mortality and the claims of family versus art in this witty and engaging look at complicated relationships and a family who sometimes behaves badly. Ass was a Play-by-Play new play reading selection in 2018. The production runs from March 27 - April 11, 2020. Auditions for Ass will be held on Friday, December 13, 2019 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. (10 a.m. to 11 a.m is reserved for AEA only). Callbacks, by invitation only, will be Saturday, December 14, 2019. Please be aware that PTC does not accept video or online submissions. All auditions will be held at Simmons Pioneer Memorial Theatre. Performers of all ethnic and racial backgrounds are encouraged to audition. Auditioners must come in to sign up on the callboard in Room 325 at the Roy W. and Elizabeth E.
