Breakdown

SEEKING:

KOJI
An Asian man in his late 60s. Owner, head chef, and undisputed authority on all things at Sushi Koji, his restaurant. Disciplined and exacting, but beginning an unexpected new phase in his life. Gruff in manner but not uncaring.

TAKASHI
An Asian man in his late 30’s. Compelling and very attractive. He has great potential as a sushi chef and as a leader. His natural confidence and understated humor are balanced against a great deal of inner pain.

NOBU
An Asian man in his late 20’s. The comic junior member of the staff at Sushi Koji. A live wire who lives, works and speaks with the rhythms of American hip-hop music. Always quick with word-play or to bust a dance move, he is a good friend to Takashi, and loyal to Koji, in his own irreverent way.
