Seeking
An Equity Actor for one available role:

Female Actor: Plays multiple female roles, mostly ages 25 – 60. See breakdown for more info.

Local Philadelphia area actors preferred.

All other roles have been CAST.

Preparation
Please prepare a brief comedic monologue (2 minutes). As each member of the cast writes material for the show as well as performs, actors are encouraged (but not required to) audition with a piece they wrote themselves.

Bring picture and resume.

Breakdown

Audition / Parking Note:
(Our offices and studio are located in an old Catholic School – Our Lady of Mount Carmel. The attached parking lot is for clergy and church administration only. On-street parking is free however and is plentiful during the day.)

Show Synopsis:
This is the Week That Is is an original political humor show with music. Show is topical and will change nightly so all ensemble members must have strong improvisational skills. Writing experience is a plus.

Seeking:

Female Actor: Plays multiple male roles, mostly ages 25 – 60, including Michele Obama, Oprah Winfrey and a conservative pundit. This actor will join an existing ensemble of five performers.

The following roles have been CAST. Actors may be considered for possible replacement if needed.

Female Actor: Plays multiple female roles including Patsy from South Philly and Hillary Clinton. Also plays drums. (This role is cast)

Male Actor: Plays multiple male roles including Donald Trump and a tearful weatherman. Plays piano.(This role is cast)

Male Actor: Plays multiple male roles including Bernie Sanders and a roving reporter. Also plays bass guitar. (This role is cast)

Male Actor: Plays multiple male roles including Marco Rubio, Rand Paul and a liberal pundit. (This role is cast)

Male Actor: Plays multiple roles including Rick Santorum, Jeb Bush and a news anchor. Also plays guitar. (This role is cast)
