Breakdown

SYNOPSIS: THE QUARE LAND

An American Premiere.
A 90-year-old Irish bachelor farmer receives an unexpected visitor - a property developer under pressure to buy a field in order to extend his nine-hole golf course in Co. Leitrim. Ireland. What starts as a negotiation for a quick deal turns into a deeper discussion. An hilarious comedy of greed and avarice.

Seeking:

Hugh Pugh:
A 90 year old small-time farmer having his first bath in four years. Cantankerous, wily, explosive, manipulative, argumentative, belligerent and really funny. He is your worst nightmare –especially if you are trying to do business and are on a deadline. (This role is on Offer)

Rob McNulty:
A building contractor in his 40’s/50’s. Ambitious, down to earth, persuasive, patient (except when is not). He navigates the slippery slope of politeness and firmness of purpose until he just can’t take it anymore.

All roles require strong Irish accent.
