Equity male and female principal actors.

Preparation
Prepare two Shakespeare pieces totaling no more than 3 minutes: at least one piece in verse. Appropriate pieces from season's plays are encouraged. Bring photo/resume printed front-to-back, and any scheduling conflicts. No video submissions will be accepted.

Breakdown

ALL'S WELL THAT ENDS WELL by William Shakespeare (directed by Dan McCleary):

Countess: Female/late 40s-60. High status with emotional depth.

Bertram: Male/late teens-mid 20s. Privileged, inarticulately in love, extremely likeable.

Helena: Female/late teens-mid 20s. A heroic, magic healer, undaunted, living in loss and love. Can dance/move.

King: Male/late 40s-60. Highest status and dying. Powerful yet kind. Can dance/move.

LaFew: Male/60s-80s. The King’s man; dry, funny, knowing. Wants the book, not the cover.

Parolles: Male/20s. A big talker with lots of show until he takes the drop. Capable of profound redemption.


HENRY V by William Shakespeare:

Henry V: Male/30s. Stage experience with verse, monarchy, combat, wooing, and the debate of ethical dilemma. To some, and perhaps even to himself, his country’s greatest monarch. Must fight.

Exeter: Male/40s. Physically imposing, a lifetime soldier, close confidant of the King and protector of his flank. Must fight.

Fluellen: Male/50s. A proud, fighting Welshman who loves his King. Must fight.

Pistol: Male/late 40s-60s. One of Falstaff’s band; funny, patriotic, a wordsmith.

Quickly/Alice: Female/50s-60s. Formerly with Falstaff at the Inn, now married to Pistol. Speaks English with French accent when attending the Princess. Stage combat a plus.

Dauphin: Male/20s-30s. Regal and young at fight. Speaks English with French accent. Must fight.

Princess Katherine/Montjoy: Female/20s. Regal, smart, playful; speaks French, and English with French accent. Will play the French herald in the field. Stage combat a plus.
