Seeking multiples roles for our 2016 season. Performers of all racial and ethnic backgrounds are encouraged to apply.

Preparation
You will have 3.5 minutes to perform 2 contrasting pieces of your choosing. One of your pieces can be a song if you'd like. An accompanist will be provided.

Actress 1: ORUAL, the Narrator and the subject of the story, who brings her complaint against the gods and who learns, at the end, how selfish her love for Psyche (and others) has really been.
Actress 2: ISTRA, Psyche; third daughter of the King of Glome; half-sister of Orual and Redival; the victim in the Great Sacrifice to the Shadowbrute; object of Orual's love; the natural Christian.
Actress 3: REDIVAL, second daughter of the King of Glome. . Also ANSIT, wife of Bardia. Also APHRODITE
Actress 4: BATTA, old nurse to Orual, Redival, and Istra; vulgar, shrewish, tattling
Actor 1: LYSIAS, the Fox, captured Greek, a slave then a freeman in the court of Glome; mentor of Orual and her best friend.
Actor 2: BARDIA, captain of the troops of Glome; Orual's steadfast friend and servant. . TARIN, brief paramour of Redival, later returns to Glome as emissary of the great king of Persia.
Actor 3: TROM, King of Glome, a bloated man ridden by coarse passions, sudden in anger but not without craftiness, with some remnants of a good heart; father of Orual, Istra, and Redival.
Actor 4: PRIEST OF UNGIT in the time of troubles, who orders the Great Sacrifice. Also CUPID
