Breakdown

SENSE AND SENSIBILITY Book, Music and Lyrics by Paul Gordon. Director Barbara Gaines.

All roles available. Roles will be understudied.

Fanny, Ensemble -- Female, 30's - 40's. A stuffy 19th century aristocrat -- willful and unsympathetic. Classically trained actress adept at British dialect. An alto would be best but soprano is okay too.

Mrs. Jennings, Ensemble -- Female, 40's - 60's. An over the top vivacious 19th century aristocrat. Gregarious, inappropriate and funny. Classically trained actress with great comic skills and adept at British dialect. Can be either an alto or soprano.

Lucy Steele, (Miss Grey, Miss Palmer) -- Female, 20's. A silly 19th century aristocrat, cunning, sly, interested in improving her status. Classically trained actress with comic skills and adept at British dialect. Alto with a strong belt.

John Dashwood, Ensemble—Male, 40s-50s. (EDWARD FERRARS understudy) A mild mannered 19th aristocrat. Good singer, any vocal range acceptable.

John Middleton, Ensemble-- Male, 40's- 50's.A vivacious aristocrat. Classically trained actor adept at British dialect. Good singer, any vocal range is acceptable.

DR HARRIS, VARIOUS SERVANTS -- Male (WILLOUGHBY understudy) Baritenor or high Baritone

MISS GRAY, VARIOUS SERVANTS -- Female (ELINOR understudy) Soprano with a strong belt mix
