Actors for Magic Theatre's production of Sam Shepard’s Fool for Love directed by Loretta Greco. Actors of all ethnicities and types are encouraged to apply. Strong preference for Bay Area actors.

BREAKDOWN
Eddie: all ethnicities; male, 30s, a proud cowboy, Marlboro Man type. Passionate and competitive, that along with the fact that he's taken to liquor often gets him into trouble. Larger than life.
May: all ethnicities; female, 30s, Eddie's former lover. Strong-willed and vulnerable. She is equal to Eddie's verbal gymnastics and power plays. She craves stability, affection, self-empowerment and independence. She is torn between the fantasy and memory of their love and the reality and pain of their past.
Martin: all ethnicities; male, 30s, solidly built. A kind, uncomplicated and innocent maintenance worker. Naïve, sweet and safe in comparison to Eddie.
Old Man has been precast.
