Since its premiere in Paris in 1841, numerous versions stagings and confirm that romantic ballet Giselle is what Swan Lake is the classic. The leading role shows clearly the outstanding technical, grace and drama of the artist, through his love affair with Duke Albrecht, a romance that transcends the deception and death. This ballet, perhaps most important of Adam, comes to the season in the review of Ivan Nagy (1982), who has a special talent for romantic repertoire, also bequeathing Santiago Ballet La Sylphide. Undoubtedly one of the key points in the history of the Company is the work of Ivan Nagy and Marilyn Burr, who significantly increased the level of it. Probably it should not therefore anyone like them and Marcia Haydée, its current director. During the "Nagy eras" (1982-1986 and 1996-2000), began their internationalization and expanded his repertoire, adding the most technically challenging choreography and professionalizing the work of the dancers.
