The Sheldon Gala 2009 welcomes singer and actress Bebe Neuwirth "Stories with Piano," Saturday, March 28, 2009 at 7:30 p.m. in the perfect acoustics of the Sheldon Concert Hall. This very special evening, co-chaired by Sharon and Dale Fiehler and Jerrilyn and David Hoffmann, benefits The Sheldon's 2008-2009 season of concerts, exhibits and educational programs.

Press notes promise "Celebrate the Great White Way with multi-talented actress, singer and dancer Bebe Neuwirth! A versatile actress who has displayed a talent for both comedy and drama, Neuwirth has won acclaim for her work on the musical stage, television and in films."

Best known for her acclaimed roles in Sweet Charity, Chicago and Damn Yankees on Broadway, and as Lilith on the popular television show Cheers, the Tony and Emmy-Award winner performs Broadway favorites in a sophisticated, intimate evening of stories and song. Her concert appearances, for which she has received rave reviews, are legendary.

Patron tickets for this very special evening are on sale now! Gala tickets start at $500 and include pre-concert cocktails and post-concert dinner, preferred concert seating, complimentary valet parking, and a tax deduction. 

Single tickets go on sale Saturday, February 21 at 10 a.m. and are $55 orchestra / $45 balcony.
