Broadway In Chicago has announced that TO MASTER THE ART, by William Brown and Doug Frew, will host post-show Q&A discussions with Chicago's own award-winning chefs and renowned restaurant professionals at the Broadway Playhouse at Water Tower Place (175 E. Chestnut). Created to celebrate the continuing influence of Julia Child as well as Chicago's own thriving restaurants, special guests will share stories from their own experiences and how Julia Child inspired them in the food industry.

Producers Daryl Roth and Eva Price announced today that Sebastian Arcelus, Fred Dalton Thompson (in his Broadway debut), and John Douglas Thompson will star in the new Broadway courtroom drama A Time to Kill, Tony Award-winning playwright Rupert Holmes' stage adaptation of John Grisham's best-selling novel. This new Broadway play holds the distinction of being the first-ever John Grisham property to be adapted for the stage. A Time to Kill is set to open on Broadway on October 20, 2013 at the John Golden Theatre (252 West 45th Street). Previews begin September 28th. Ethan McSweeny will direct. A cast of young student actors will perform Stephen Sondheim's Tony Award-winning 'Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street' tonight, July 17-21 at the Center for Dramatic Art at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

The Utah Shakespeare Festival previously announced the casting of the first eight actors for the 2013 season. All are familiar faces, having appeared at the Festival in the past. With a new leadership team of Gregory Doran, Artistic Director, and Catherine Mallyon, Executive Director, at the helm, the Royal Shakespeare Company returns to New York this spring with two productions, Julius Caesar and Matilda The Musical. Both began their lives at the RSC's Stratford-upon-Avon home and reflect the Company's continuing commitment to Shakespeare and the work of contemporary playwrights and theatre artists, as it celebrates one hundred years of touring work from Shakespeare's birthplace to the US.

According to the New York Times, Shakespeare's classic romatic tradgedy Romeo and Juliet is coming back to Broadway this summer. Helmed by David Leveaux, the production will star Tony nominee Condola Rashad and Orlando Bloom- making his Broadway debut in the role. Joining them in the play, which is set to open on September 19 at the Richard Rodgers Theatre, will be Jayne Houdyshell as the Nurse and Joe Morton as Lord Capulet.
