From its stunning Broadway premiere in 1968, Hair defined the "rock musical," exuberantly celebrating the hippie counterculture, anti-war movement and sexual revolution of the 1960s with a rainbow score of hits - including "Aquarius," "Good Morning Starshine," and "Easy to be Hard" - that have become ingrained in pop culture. Let down your long, beautiful hair, pull out the tie-dye and celebrate this groundbreaking American journey as we "Let the Sunshine In!"

Author Arlene Gerrity's friend, Margaret Mary Campbell is a person born with albinism. When they met in 1995, Campbell was still teaching and Gerrity admired how much she loved teaching and her sincere dedication to her students. Because of many myths and negative portrayals of albinism in the media, both women felt a need for children to see an honest and accurate image of albinism in literature and the media. Hence, they publish a storybook about a little robin born with the inherited genetic condition of albinism, titled 'UNIQUE.'

Margaret Braverman, a 60-year-old physicist teaching at a small college, can't help but regret the things she never quite got right. Most of all was the tragic ending of her romance with her brilliant colleague Frank, something she's never gotten over it. Then there is the prospect of restoring the respect of her colleagues after an unfortunate incident where she set her hair on fire. And, of course, it would be glorious to get even with that mean-spirited, conceited, womanizing chairman of her department, Caleb Winter.
I was a freshman at Sam Houston State University when I first read Gregory Maguire's riveting and racy novel Wicked: The Life and Times of the Wicked Witch of the West. That same year, on October 30, 2003 WICKED opened on Broadway at the Gershwin Theatre. I was first bewitched by WICKED when the Original Broadway Cast Album was released on December 16, 2003. In October 2005, I saw the miraculous show for the first time when the First National Tour landed in Houston. Now, WICKED is retuning to Houston for the fourth time and the musical's Broadway production will turn 10 years old this year. It is currently the 12th Longest Running Show in Broadway history. WICKED, with its multiple productions all over the world, is a musical phenomenon that enchants audiences everywhere it goes.
