Assembly Festival (1st - 27th August 2018) announced its FULL programme goes on sale at 10am today (Thu 17 May 2018). This year there are 208 shows - 60 theatre acts, 60 comedy shows and the biggest programme of cabaret Assembly Festival has ever staged.

Chris Isaacson Presents has announced that Tony Award nominee Mary Bridget Davies (A Night with Janis Joplin) will bring her electric charm and powerhouse vocals to Catalina Bar & Grill in Hollywood for one show only on Sunday, May 13, at 7:30pm. Musical direction is by Ryan Sudick. 

Work Light Productions and The Playhouse on Rodney Square present MOTOWN THE MUSICAL for eight performances Tuesday, May 1 through Sunday, May 6.

Written by Sam Cassidy, directed by Arlene Phillips, Myth: The Rise and Fall of Orpheus runs until Saturday in concert-style workshop performances at The Other Palace. The production is semi-staged and performed by a live 6-piece rock band.

Diana Vickers has joined the cast of rock musical Myth: The Rise and Fall of Orpheus to play the female lead character, Eurydice.

A Chronicle of the Madness of Small Worlds, a pairing of two hilariously profound monologues from legendary playwright Mac Wellman's story collection, adapted and directed by Elena Araoz, has extended its run Next Door at New York Theatre Workshop through Sunday, February 11. The production is produced and sponsored by Harvey and Kathleen Guion and Dan McCarthy.

The production runs in NYTW's newly renovated 65-seat black box space begins performances on January 17. The production is produced and sponsored by Harvey and Kathleen Guion.

A one-night-only engagement, LaPrade sings the songs that have shaped him, pays homage to those artists, and explores how growing up on Bruce Springsteen & Janis Joplin actually led him to sing showtunes.

A Night With Janis Joplin, is a musical journey celebrating Janis and her biggest musical influences icons like Aretha Franklin, Etta James, Odetta, Nina Simone and Bessie Smith, who inspired one of rock & roll's greatest legends. The show features a remarkable cast performing such unforgettable songs as Me and Bobby McGee, Piece of My Heart, Mercedes Benz, Cry Baby and Summertime. Kelly McIntyre returns to the cast as Janis, after joining the show for the First National Tour in 2016.
