Renowned guitarist, multi-platinum-selling singer-songwriter, bandleader and Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee Steve Miller has opened up his voluminous archive of recordings for the first time ever to present a milestone 3CD + DVD box set. WELCOME TO THE VAULT covers Miller's genre-blurring six-decade career over 52 audio tracks, pairing a number of greatest hits and certifiable rock 'n roll classics with 38 previously unreleased recordings that span demos, rehearsals, outtakes, vintage concert performances and 5 newly uncovered original Steve Miller Band songs recorded in the 1960s and 1970s.

Having chalked up fifty years at the peak of the music and entertainment industry, Justin Hayward's voice has been heard the world over.  Known principally as the vocalist, lead guitarist and composer for the Moody Blues, his is an enduring talent that has helped to define the times in which he worked. Over the last forty-five years the band has sold 55 million albums and received numerous awards. Commercial success has gone hand in hand with critical acclaim. The Moody Blues are renowned the world over as innovators and trail blazers who have influenced any number of fellow artists.  Justin is honored with the Moody Blues on the Rock Walk Hall of Fame on Sunset Boulevard, and this year the band will be inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.

For the past several summers, I have attended the Festival of Arts and The Pageant of the Masters in Laguna Beach. But this year, I also decided to also visit two other art festivals along Laguna Canyon Road rather than spend any time cruising the town as I had done before. The full-day of exploring all the artistic delights on display this year at all three locations left me dazzled by all the talent on display, while wishing I had lot of extra income to purchase and bring home many of the awe-inspiring items that caught my fancy. But the real highlight of the day was viewing the abundance of 'local color' on display in this summer's 'Under the Sun' themed Pageant of the Masters.

The Poway OnStage 2017/18 season opens with the arena rock of KANSAS. It continues with GRAMMY winning artists: Los Lobos, Aaron Neville, BJ Thomas and Roger McGuinn. Local music takes center stage with Six String Society's Sounds of the Big Easy and roots rockers Berkley Hart. Love Letters From Vietnam is a unique live theatrical musical performance of Alex Woodward's songs written for the daughter of Vietnam vet Sgt. John K. Fuller. TAO: Drum Heart closes the season with their world tour of large-scale Japanese taiko drumming, dance and martial arts.

The Zappa Family Trust will mark the 50 th anniversary of Frank Zappa & The Mothers of Invention's politically-charged, envelope-pushing sophomore album, Absolutely Free, with an expanded vinyl-exclusive edition on September 29 via Zappa Records/UMe.

With a new solo album release, All The Way, Justin Hayward will now embark on his first solo tour of Australia - with two special shows in Sydney and Melbourne in October.  Over the past five years Justin has enjoyed a thriving solo career.

Two-time Academy Award-winner Dianne Wiest (Hannah and Her Sisters, Bullets over Broadway) plays Winnie, widely considered modern drama's pinnacle female role, alongside Jarlath Conroy, who plays Willie, directed by Yale Repertory Theatre Artistic Director James Bundy.

On Dec. 9, 1993, Glenn Close played her first performance in the Los Angeles premiere of SUNSET BOULEVARD. A year later, she reprised her role at Broadway's Minskoff Theatre and, six months after that, earned her third Tony Award for her portrayal of Norma Desmond.

Yale Repertory Theatre (James Bundy, Artistic Director; Victoria Nolan, Managing Director) concludes its 50th Anniversary Season with the world premiere of MARY JANE by Amy Herzog, directed by Anne Kauffman, April 28 through May 20 at Yale Repertory Theatre (1120 Chapel Street). In the Elizabethan era, when women are forbidden to become actors, what's a stage-struck lady to do? Lady Viola de Lesseps adores plays, especially those by a young writer named Will Shakespeare, but can only look on longingly as men and boys perform them. Will, meanwhile, has his own struggles: his inspiration fled, his debts and unwritten commissions piling up…until he meets an unknown young player named Thomas Kent, who speaks his words as he's always dreamed they'd be spoken, and a beautiful woman named Viola, who could be just the muse he needs. Under the direction of MTC artistic director Jasson Minadakis, this stage adaptation of the beloved film finds its true essence: a love letter to the power of theatre and the imagination.

Marin Theatre Company's artistic director Jasson Minadakis and managing director Keri Kellerman are thrilled to announce that Dominique Morisseau's Skeleton Crew-winner of MTC's 2014 Sky Cooper New American Play Prize and the third installment in Morisseau's 3-play cycle, The Detroit Projects-will be co-produced with TheatreWorks Silicon Valley as a part of MTC's 51st mainstage season.
