Photo Flash: In Rehearsal with LOVE BIRDS, Coming to Edinburgh Fringe Next Month
The world premiere of Robert J. Sherman's brand new musical LOVE BIRDS comes to this year's Edinburgh Fringe, 5 - 31 August 2015, presented by KPS Productions and MusicWorld (UK) Ltd. Directed and choreographed by Stewart Nicholls, the production is music supervised & arranged by Richard Healey and music directed by Neil MacDonald, with design by Gabriella Slade. The age of vaudeville. A quartet of penguins and a trio of parrots sing and dance, dazzling and delighting their audiences, night after night in this one of a kind, all avian revue. But when the show's temperamental cracker-crazed macaw star mysteriously goes missing, it threatens to close down the show for good. Robert J. Sherman's new musical follows closely in his father and uncle's (the Sherman Brothers') Oscar-winning footsteps (Mary Poppins). Fantastic, feathery, fun featuring a cast of 9 performers and 3 musicians.
The cast of nine features Ruth Betteridge, Greg Castiglioni, John Guerrasio, George Knapper, Jonny Purchase, Joanna Sawyer, Anna Stolli, Rafe Watts and Ryan Willis.
