EVITA National Tour to Stop at PPAC, 9/8-14; Tickets on Sale 6/17

Tickets for the stunning new production of Tim Rice's and Andrew Lloyd Webber's EVITA go on sale Monday, June 17, 2013 at 10A at the Providence Performing Arts Center (PPAC) Box Office; the National Tour launches at PPAC and kicks off the 2013/2014 Broadway Season September 8 - 14, 2013.

PPAC President J.L. "Lynn" Singleton said, "We are thrilled to be opening the National Tour of EVITA. This beloved production is the first of three National Tours that is being launched at PPAC this season."

Tickets for EVITA are $80 - $43; all ticket prices include a $3 per ticket restoration charge and are subject to change without notice. Tickets are available online at www.ppacri.org, by phone at (401) 421-ARTS (2787), and at the PPAC Box Office, located at 220 Weybosset Street in downtown Providence.

Summer Box Office Hours are Monday through Thursday, 10A to 3P and through curtain time(s) on performance days. Beginning Tuesday, September 3, Box Office Hours will be Monday through Friday, 10A to 5P; Saturday, 10A to 2P; and through curtain time(s) on performance days.

This stunning new production of EVITA is directed by Michael Grandage and choreographed by Rob Ashford, that Channel 4 New York called "THE HOTTEST TICKET IN TOWN!"
