Greek mythology meets burlesque, puppetry and a modern Americana score in ICARUS, the latest original theatrical presentation from acclaimed Boston-based ensemble Liars & Believers. Creators of last year's gritty NYMF hit Le Cabaret Grimm, Liars & Believers will present ICARUS as part of the 2013 New York Musical Theatre Festival.

Lincoln Center Theater (under the direction of Producing Artistic Director Andre Bishop) has announced that Vanessa Aspillaga, Mia Barron, Robin De Jesus, Jeff Goldblum, Lizbeth Mackay, Emily Meade, Mary Beth Peil, Karen Pittman and Misha Seo will join Laurie Metcalf in the cast of DOMESTICATED, a new play by Bruce Norris, to be directed by Anna D. Shapiro, which will begin previews Thursday, October 10 at 8pm at the Mitzi E. Newhouse Theater (150 West 65 Street). Opening night is Monday, November 4 at 6:45pm. Additional casting for DOMESTICATED will be announced at a later date.

New York Theatre Workshop (NYTW) Artistic Director James C. Nicola has announced that Fetch Clay, Make Man, written by Will Power and directed by Des McAnuff, will begin performances Friday, August 23 at NYTW, 79 East 4 Street, between Bowery and Second Avenue. Opening night is set for Thursday, September 12 at 7pm. Fetch Clay, Make Man is scheduled to run through Sunday, October 13; tickets are on sale now.

Dancer/actress Charlotte Bydwell brings her acclaimed solo show, Woman of Leisure and Panic, to the 17th annual New York International Fringe Festival for five performances, August 11-23 at the Theater at the14th Street Y, 344 East 14th Street (near First Avenue). The show, written, choreographed and performed by Bydwell, premiered in the 8th Annual soloNOVA Festival, 2011, and received a nomination for a New York Innovative Theatre Award for Outstanding Performance Art Production.

Juilliard's Drama Division announces the 2013-2014 season of fully-staged productions featuring Juilliard's 43rd group of acting students in their fourth and final year in the drama program at Juilliard. This season's plays include Jeffrey Hatcher's Smash, directed by Victor Pappas; Amy Herzog's The Great God Pan, directed by Maria Mileaf; and Sam Shepard's Buried Child, directed by Daniel Fish. All performances take place in the Stephanie P. McClelland Drama Theater at Juilliard.

LCT3/Lincoln Center Theater's world premiere production of A KID LIKE JAKE, a new play by Daniel Pearle, directed by Evan Cabnet, and starring Caroline Aaron, Michelle Beck, Peter Grosz and Carla Gugino, closes tonight at The Claire Tow Theater. A KID LIKE JAKE began previews on Sunday, June 2, ahead of an official opening night on Monday, June 17.

Lincoln Center Theater Producing Artistic Director Andre Bishop and LCT3 Artistic Director Paige Evans have announced a slate of three new works to be produced by LCT3, Lincoln Center Theater's programming initiative devoted to producing the work of new artists and developing new audiences, during the 2013-2014 season. First up will be the world premiere of LUCE, marking the professional debut of playwright JC Lee, directed by May Adrales (Saturday, October 5 through Sunday, November 17 - opening Monday, October 21). LUCE will be followed in January with a second world premiere, STOP HITTING YOURSELF, created by Rude Mechs (Monday, January 13 through Sunday, February 23, 2014 - opening Monday, January 27). The season will conclude with the New York premiere of 2013 Pulitzer Prize winning playwright Ayad Akhtar's new play THE WHO AND THE WHAT, directed by Kimberly Senior (Saturday, May 31 through Sunday, July 13, 2014 - opening Monday, June 16).
