With just over a month to go until Graeme Murphy's new Romeo & Juliet debuts on the Arts Centre stage in Melbourne, anticipation is at an all-time high.

PCPA Theaterfest concludes its 2010-2011 season with the musical Caroline, or Change by Tony Kushner (Angels in America) and Jeanine Tesori (Shrek the Musical).

The Made At Horse Trade Series will feature two works developed through Horse Trade Theater Group's The Fire This Time Festival, Yusef Miller's Breakfast and Kelley Nicole Girod's Ambrosia, playing as a double feature August 10-29 at The Red Room (85 East 4th Street between 2nd Ave and Bowery), Monday & Wednesday at 8pm and Sundays at 3pm. Shakespeare fans are in for a treat this summer as the San Francisco Shakespeare Festival and Nair & Co. team up for ‘Cymbeline', starting Saturday, August 13, 2011 at Cupertino's Memorial Park.

Southern California's Musical Theatre University hosts the most intensive summer musical theatre experience in the nation for young 'Broadway Bound' performers, ages 14-20 - THE NATIONAL BROADWAY BOOT CAMP - which runs from August 1-13 in Orange County.

Now that we have completed Shakespeare's entire canon, we're starting over by producing The Comedies in the order in which they were written! Get on board right from the start with these shows, we'll have you rolling in the aisles all season!

Theatre Under The Stars' (TUTS) Humphreys School of Musical Theatre (HSMT) will develop and present the Southwest regional premiere of VOTE! A New Musical, a high-energy musical that takes a look at the good, the bad, and the funny of high school student council elections.

Northlight Theatre, under the direction of Artistic Director BJ Jones and Executive Director Timothy J. Evans, announces casting for the Chicago premiere of Snapshots, by Stephen Schwartz and David Stern, and Alan Ayckbourn's Season's Greetings. The Snapshots cast includes Gene Weygandt in his third production with Stephen Schwartz, following Wicked and Working; and Susie McMonagle, direct from the Billy Elliott National Tour.

PCPA Theaterfest is proud to present the American Premiere of My Fairytale, a musical about Hans Christian Andersen directed by Scott Schwartz. My Fairytale previews in Santa Maria August 12 - 20, then opens in Solvang's Festival Theater running from August 26 through September 25, 2011.
