At a Washington DC fundraiser hosted by Scandal scribe Shonda Rhimes and star Kerry Washington last night, President Barack Obama joked about the accuracy of the hit ABC drama series.

'Arrested Development' star Portia de Rossi will appear in a multi-episode story arc when the fourth season of ABC's Scandal returns this fall.

The drama may have rained down last season on WE tv's BRAXTON FAMILY VALUES and SWV REUNITED, but it will start to pour on Thursday, August 14

This July, WE tv's first original scripted drama, The Divide, will debut with a special two-hour premiere tonight, July 16th, at 9:00pm ET/PT

Born for Broadway has announced that its fifth annual celebrity cabaret, featuring Broadway and TV stars donating their time and talent, will take place at Merkin Concert Hall at Kaufman Music Center, 129 W. 67th Street, on Monday, October 13, 2014 at 8 PM. Proceeds will benefit Unite 2 Fight Paralysis, a nonprofit that supports international advocacy, education, and spinal cord injury research.

According to Deadline, Rob Ashford recently helmed a reading for Alfred Uhry's musical version of John Berendt's 1994 best selling book MIDNIGHT IN THE GARDEN OF GOOD AND EVIL. Producers Craig Haffner and and Anne Hamburger revealed intentions to take the new musical to London next, prior to a Broadway run. The cast for the reading included: Tony Goldwyn, Leslie Uggams, Peter Cincotti, Jessica Molaskey, Michael Park and Jake Robinson. A workshop is reportedly set for September- casting has not yet been announced.

The supernatural power of love is taking Las Vegas by storm as the new Broadway and West End musical Ghost The Musical, adapted from the Academy Award-winning film, opens at The Smith Center for the Performing Arts, Aug. 12-17.
