Coats, Chuck Cooper, Maria Couch, Harriett D. Foy, Dion Graham, April Matthis, Jacob Ming-Trent, Seth Numrich, Stephen Plunkett, Michael Siberry and Shelley Thomas will be featured in its upcoming LCT3 world premiere production of ON THE LEVEE, a play with music, conceived and directed by Lear deBessonet, with play by Marcus Gardley, and music and lyrics by Todd Almond.

Broadway and Off-Broadway producer Ken Davenport (author of the popular blog, www.TheProducersPerspective.com) will present the second offering of THE DAVENPORT DEVELOPMENTAL READING SERIES, four readings of new works (plays and/or musicals), on Monday, June 14th at the Mint Theater (311 West 43rd Street/3rd floor): Steven Owad's Heartland, directed by Stafford Arima.

Previews begin Wednesday, June 2 for the Lincoln Center Theater production of A. R. Gurney's new play, THE GRAND MANNER., directed by Mark Lamos, at the Mitzi E. Newhouse Theater (150 W. 65 Street). Kate Burton, Boyd Gaines, Bobby Steggert and Brenda Wehle comprise the four character cast of its world premiere production which will open on Sunday, June 27.

Sherie Rene Scott has starred in some of the biggest shows on Broadway - she's played Amneris in Aida, Christine in Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, Marty in Grease, Maureen in Rent and Ursula in The Little Mermaid. Currently, Scott is starring in Everyday Rapture, which she has co-written with Dick Scanlan. Everyday Rapture opened on April 29th, and is set to close on July 11th. The production also had an off-Broadway run at the Second Stage Theatre in 2009. The LCT3 production of GRACELAND, a new play by Ellen Fairey, plays at The Duke on 42nd Street, a New 42nd Street® project, (229 W. 42 Street). Marin Hinkle, David Gelles Hurwitz, Brian Kerwin, Polly Lee and Matt McGrath are featured in the play which is directed by Henry Wishcamper. This New York premiere began previews May 3, and opened Monday, May 17. The production runs through Saturday, May 29. LCT3 is Lincoln Center Theater's programming initiative devoted to producing the work of new artists and developing new audiences.

Variety reports today that John Guare's FREE MAN OF COLOR, which will premiere at Lincoln Center next season, is the recipient of a $100,000 grant from National Actors Theater Foundation. The Tony Randall Theatrical Fund has granted Lincoln Center an additiona, undisclosed amount of money to help support it's production of non-profit shows. Both organizations are run by late actor Tony Randall's daughter, Heather.

The New York Daily News is reporting that Spanish director Pedro Almodovar told press at the Cannes Festival that Jessica Biel, who took part in the staged readings of the new musical, 'Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown' at Lincoln Center, has signed on for the full production.

A MINISTER'S WIFE, which was conceived and will be directed by Michael Halberstam, will begin performances Thursday, April 7, 2011 and opening on Thursday, May 5, 2011 at the Mitzi E. Newhouse Theater (150 West 65 Street).
