This December, Children's Theatre of Charlotte presents two productions sure to make the season bright.

This year's Children's Theatre season has been one of the biggest ever, having, for the first time, brought a Disney production to the Way Off Broadway stage with Disney's 101 Dalmatians at the beginning of the year and a regional theatre premiere of Dora the Explorer Live! Dora's Pirate Adventure this past fall.

The Growing Stage, The Children's Theatre of New Jersey, located in the Historic Palace Theatre on Route 183 in Netcong, New Jersey is set to present its original musical production of BABES IN TOYLAND from November 25th to December 18th with performances Fridays at 7:30 PM, Saturdays and Sundays at 4:00 PM.

PNT will be presenting "Jamie and Jordan" on Saturday December 17 at 1pm, as part of the Saturday Series for Young Audiences.

Theater Latte Da announced today casting for the area premiere of Beautiful Thing by Jonathan Harvey, which it will present at the The Lab Theater February 24 - March 18, 2012.

Florida Repertory Theatre announced that its popular Lunchbox Theatre Series opens in December with The Imaginators, an epic make-believe adventure about the power of imagination. Perfect for kids of all ages, Imaginators plays Dec. 16 & 17 at 11am in the Arcade Theatre, and the $12 admission price includes the performance, lunch and an interactive post-show workshop.

Following the highest-grossing week in ticket sales history, Performance Network Theatre has added three shows to its "Ain't Misbehavin'" schedule.

For the past two years, The Way Off Broadway Dinner Theatre has been host to a rockin' New Year's Eve Celebration. As the days remaining in 2011 quickly disappear, the theatre is once again preparing to ring in the New Year with a special night of fun and entertainment.

Lone Star and Laundry are two complementary one-act plays written by James McLure. Though not a native Texan, McLure is known as a premier Texas playwright because he graduated from SMU's theatre department in 1973 and his best-known plays are prized for their precise capture of the feel and character of West Texas. Not to mention the great southern humor running through every page! McLure died in February of this year from cancer. He was 59.
