A new musical about a runaway slave who becomes one of America's first Black Cowboys will debut this fall when CROSS THAT RIVER is presented by The New York Musical Theatre Festival and Patricia Harris, starting October 12, 2009 at TBG Theatre (312 West 36th Street - 3rd Floor) in New York City.

Broadway's Danny Gurwin will perform Broadway favorites with a Jewish theme with MIRACLE OF MIRACLES September 10. The performance will take place at Jewish Community Center's Handleman Hall in West Bloomfield, MI.

New York Musical Theatre Festival Announces Contestants for the 'Next Broadway Sensation'

Preliminary auditions were held over the weekend and out of hundreds of auditions, NYMF has selected the 10 finalists that will compete to be the 'Next Broadway Sensation.' Belting this year at New World Stages will be: Nathan Brisby, Catherine Brookman, Starr J. Busby, Lisa Marie Gargione, Nkrumah Gatling, Lyle Colby Mackston, Zak Resnick, Angelo Rios, Louise Stewart and Cassie Wooley

This is our ambitious endeavor to co-produce at least one performance in the CoHo Theater every night beginning Thursday, July 9, until August 29! They're cheap too! Every production has at least one performance in which ticket prices start at $5.

Danny Gurwin will join Khori Dastoor for two performances of the California Philharmonic's BROADWAY'S BEST concert. On August 22, the Philharmonic will perform at The Arboretum in Arcadia. The company will then perform the concert at Walt Disney Concert Hall on August 23.

The smash hit Off-Broadway musical,' Dames at Sea opens the Saint Michael's Playhouse summer 2009 season Tuesday, June 16, and runs through June 27, starring Broadway musical talent top to bottom. Tickets for the show are discounted 20% through the run of the show if bought as part of a four-play season subscription. Performances of 'Dames' are Tuesday, June 16 through Saturday, June 20, at 8 p.m. each evening and Saturday, June 20, and Saturday, June 27, at 2 p.m., on the stage of the McCarthy Arts Center on the campus of Saint Michael's College.
