STG Presents THE LION KING Sensory-Friendly Performance

Seattle Theatre Group, Disney Theatrical Group, TDF, and our community partners are proud to offer a sensory-friendly performance of Disney's The Lion King on January 5, 2019 at 2 p.m. at the Paramount Theatre. Performed in a supportive and judgment-free environment, this show will provide the opportunity for families and friends with children or adults affected by autism and other sensory issues to enjoy the shared experience of live theatre.   

Disney's THE LION KING Celebrates Record Breaking Engagement in Boise

Disney's THE LION KING grossed over $3.7 million at the box office and entertained more than 44,500 theatergoers during its three-week premiere engagement in Boise. The production, which played The Morrison Center for 24 performances from October 17 - November 4, broke the box office record for the highest gross and number of tickets sold for any single show in the theatre's history.

Tickets For Disney's THE LION KING At Van Wezel On Sale November 2nd

Disney Theatrical Productions and The Van Wezel Performing Arts Hall announced today that tickets for the long-awaited premiere engagement of Disney's The Lion King go on sale to the public on Friday, November 2, 2018. Disney's The Lion King will leap onto the Van Wezel stage on Thursday, March 14 for a 3-week engagement through Sunday, March 31. The official opening night for Disney's THE LION KING is Friday, March 15 at 7:30 p.m.

Disney's THE LION KING Opens Tonight in Boise

The Boise premiere engagement of Disney's THE LION KING begins performances tonight at the Morrison Center. The three week engagement plays from Wednesday, October 17 through Sunday, November 4.

Broadway Bound AIN'T TOO PROUD Begins Performances Tonight at Princess Of Wales Theatre

Ain't Too Proud - The Life and Times of The Temptations plays a strictly limited pre-Broadway engagement beginning tonight, October 11 - November 17 at Toronto's Princess of Wales Theatre following this summer's highly acclaimed engagements at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington D.C. and the Ahmanson Theatre in Los Angeles. Media night in Toronto is Tuesday October 16, 2018.

AIN'T TOO PROUD Breaks Box Office Record at CTG's Ahmanson

Ain't Too Proud - The Life and Times of The Temptations has broken the Center Theatre Group/Ahmanson Theatre records for the highest grossing pre-Broadway engagement with a gross of $5,992,378.50, and for highest attendance with 82,792 people having seen the show in Los Angeles.

AIN'T TOO PROUD to Begin Performances February 28, Opening Night March 21

Ain't Too Proud - The Life and Times of The Temptations will begin performances on Broadway on Thursday, February 28, 2019, with an official Opening Night set for Thursday, March 21, 2019. As previously announced, Ain't Too Proud will play the legendary Imperial Theatre (249 West 45th Street). Additional information will be announced shortly.

Jersey Boys is written by Marshall Brickman & Rick Elice, with music by Bob Gaudio, lyrics by Bob Crewe, directed by two-time Tony Award-winner Des McAnuff and choreographed by Sergio Trujillo.
