The producers of RACE have announced that David Mamet's new play will extend through August 23rd at The Barrymore Theatre (243 West 47th St.). The producers recently announced that the play recouped its investment. Tickets to RACE can be purchased by visiting telecharge.com or calling 212-239-6200.

On Thursday, April 22, RACE stars James Spader, David Alan Grier and Kerry Washington received portraits on the famed Sardi's wall (co-star Richard Thomas has previously been inducted for a prior performance but was on hand to celebrate). BroadwayWorld was there to capture the event.

To celebrate the arrival of spring, RACE will take over Times Square on Wednesday, March 24, 2010 from 11 am - 1 pm and will have nearly two dozen women wear red sequined dresses for the public. This event will also celebrate the fact that RACE is currently the longest-running play of this Broadway season.
