As the world mourns the tragic loss of comedic great Robin Williams, more details have surfaced on how the actor died. According to the New York Times, a coroner's office official reported today that Williams hanged himself with a belt at his home on Monday, August 11, 2014.

Fresh off the biting adventures of Discovery's 'Shark Week' comes the Hub Network's celebration of a furrier creature - dogs. Starting Sunday, August 17 to Friday, August 22, the Network is bringing everyone's favorite family member and best friend to its air with 'Bark Week,' a special week full of fun canine programming for dog-lovers of all ages to enjoy. The tail-wagging week will feature four popular series from Animal Planet, a sister network also owned by Discovery, called 'America's Cutest,' 'It's Me or the Dog,' 'Bad Dog!' and 'Too Cute!' airing for the first time on the Hub Network, champions of family fun and the only network dedicated to providing kids and their families with entertainment they can watch together. The Greater Los Angeles Zoo Association's (GLAZA) 44th Annual Beastly Ball, honoring animal advocate Heather Mycoskie and Tom Mankiewicz Leadership Award recipient Ken Ziffren, is set for Saturday, June 14, 2014, 6 pm, under the stars at the Los Angeles Zoo. In keeping with the Zoo's role as an international leader in the preservation of endangered species and a conservation center for the care and study of wildlife, this year's Beastly Ball also celebrates the 50th anniversary of the IUCN Red List of Threatened Species. Beastly Ball guests, invited to dress in casual or safari attire, stroll through the Zoo after hours observing its inhabitants, watching animal feedings, chatting with keepers, viewing small animals up close, and enjoying entertainment, dancing, and dining on bountiful fare provided by some of L.A.'s most popular restaurants. The Hollywood Reporter writes that Fox 2000 is developing a sequel to MRS. DOUBTFIRE, which hit theaters in 1993 starring Robin Williams. Original director Chris Columbus and Williams would both return for part two. David Berenbaum (Elf) will pen the script.

The Blank Theatre's Young Playwrights Festival is now seeking submissions nationwide from playwrights 19 years of age and younger. The submission deadline is March 15, 2014. Winning plays will be presented by professional actors and directors in June, 2014 at the Stella Adler Theatre in Hollywood, CA.
